Young artist, Vincent Hernandez, takes action to his work with no afterthought. Taking influence from anything and everything, he takes his surroundings into account using a detailed, observational eye, drawing and photographic what he wants and what he likes. “I think dragons are cool so I drew a dragon,” he says speaking on behalf of his dragon doodle. Style wise, he draws loose and fast, taking no more than five minutes on most of his drawings which are usually done on flashcards at home or school. Daniel Johnston, Mark Gonzales, and Jean-Michel Basquiat remain his favorite artists taking into account not only their art but their lives and personalities as well.
