How You See Me

Isabella LePorte is a young photographer based in LA. She prefers to shoot using film and intends on going to college to study photography. Whether or not she decides to have a profession in it, LePorte plans on doing it for a long time, using it as a form of self expression.She uses art as a way to challenge typical stereotypes. Using mainly women as her subjects, she is able to relate specific stereotypes to her personal life and depict them through an image. In the series “How You See Me”, she uses a feeble looking women to portray the stereotype that women are vulnerable and powerless in the society we live in today.
