~Movies & Music this Labor Day Weekend in LA~

Music:

Thursday/Saturday/Sunday – Ty Segall is playing at the Echo and limited tickets are available at the door and online for $15. All ages!

Saturday – Grammy nominated La Santa Cecilia is playing at 8pm at the Levitt Pavillion. They are an eclectic latin rock band that will make you want to dance and are the closing concert for this summer’s levitt series.

Saturday/Sunday – Made In America Festival ($80-$100) Saturday includes performances by Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons and Sublime with Rome. Sunday’s schedule is rad. It includes Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Weezer, Steve Aoki, Cypress Hill, and many more! If you have some extra cash to spend this isn’t a bad way to enjoy it this weekend. Even if you’re not into spending that money, go hang outside the festival and listen to this shit for free, that’s what I’m going to do!

Movies:

Saturday – Head over to Cinespia at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to watch a screening of A Clockwork Orange. Tickets are $14 and limited, so get them now!

Sunday – Head over to Cinespia for a round 2 movie screening of one of our favorites, Pretty in Pink, starring Molly Ringwald!

All weekend – Cinceon 50! Held at the Egyptian theatre, watch screenings of classic cinema and unfamiliar, rare films all weekend long. Ticket prices range from $25-$30 per day.
