After almost 2 decades, Chuck Palahniuk’s 1996 novel Fight Club, has become one the greatest cult classics of all times. It’s no surprise Palahniuk has decided to make a sequel considering it is one of his most popular works. Teaming up with illustrator Cameron Stewart, Fight Club 2 will take the form of a comic, by Dark Horse Comics, and will be published on May 27.
From the excerpts recently published on Playboy.com, we know that the sequel shoots forward ten years into the life of the unnamed narrator, revealing that he is now married to Marla Singer, addicted to prescription pills, and has a destructive son.
Palahnuik has said the sequel will be “dark and messy” and that “nowadays, Tyler is telling the story … ready to launch a comeback”.
