∆Purgatorio is an installation by artist Scott Gelber. He incorporates scattered and destructed household items, media icons and classic art pieces. It presents a clear depiction of where art is headed. The use of classic art mixed with 2014’s internet culture and high quality 4D graphics displays the obvious influence from different art forms throughout the century and different living environments. Gelber did a great job of incorporating the different influences, architecture and art our world has seen since the beginning of history. The installation shows an exciting path for where art could be headed, bringing computer art to be just as important of a movement as the classic art also displayed in ∆Purgatorio.
